First, go to your app store and search for Genius Scan, which is a free app that allows your phone to scan documents as PDFs. It can be used with any Apple, Windows, or Android device. Download the app and open it. The first time you open it, hit skip to open the scanner. Press the camera icon in the bottom and line it up and get it in focus. We recommend placing the document on a contrasted background like a wood floor or carpet. Try to take it in a well-lit environment, being mindful not to cast shadows on the paper. It will automatically create a border around the document, so press “use” to save it. Press the settings icon and choose “no enhancement”. Then click the export icon and send it to the camera album. Then visit apply.lineman.edu and visit the correct uploader for the document you scanned. Login with your applicant number and email address that you applied with, choose the file from your photo library, and then enter the Captcha letters. If using an IOS, select "large" for the image size. This process can be completed for each document.
