Crane Operator Certification

In the power delivery industry, large-line construction companies use cranes to install towers, substation equipment, and large wood-pole structures. For this reason, some construction companies place a high value on crane certification when recruiting ELP graduates.

The Crane Operator Certification class is taught during a weekend session, and includes classroom instruction, practice time with cranes, and one practical exam on each crane.

This course is a test prepartation course and students who pass the written and practical exams receive nationally recognized certification from the National Commission for Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) to operate all swing and fixed-cab telescopic boom cranes (valid for five years).
